so the parents will be in hong kong over the Easter weekend.
which means 2 things, good & bad.
the bad
(i) I WON'T GET TO SEE THEM OVER THE EASTER WEEKEND IF I'M BACK HOME, AND WE WON'T HAVE OUR TRADITIONAL EASTER LUNCH! (part of the reason WHY i want to head back over Easter in the first place!)... Easter is especially important to me, why, it is the day that Christ our Lord rose from the dead :)
the (very) good
(ii) MOMMY SUGGESTED I DUMP MY BAGS AT HOME AND FLY UP TO HK FOR THE LONG WEEKEND WITH THEM, SO THAT I CAN SEE JIMMY :D yes kids, my parents are actually being very supportive. i am pleasantly surprised :)
but we'll see, whatever it is. any other weekend, i'll fly down to hk, and/or he'll fly to singapore to see me. so no difference there, i suppose :) he's planned to spaaa if i go up, or well, if he comes down too! so fun. amazing. an entire weekend!
also. my parents have taken quite well to us dating, which is always a good thing. mommy's sent him a box of cny stuff, dad's offered to introduce him to people to spend cny with (thank god that idea's been scrapped!), mom's offered to take care of valentine's for me (no need to, so phew!) etcetc. it's early days yet, but jimmy and i have agreed that God's been good to us, the relationship has been smooth-sailing thus far. as he rightly pointed out, we haven't argued yet! i can't wait for valentine's, i really hope he likes the stupid $120 cupcakes! ridiculous things. so 1.5 years, and the mobile adults will truly have to see what to do.
just typing this makes me smile. i'm such a dork :)
Honey come home, home
We could build ourselves a time machine and never leave
Cause home, where the pressure never gets to anyone
And home, where they never measure you or anyone
Home used to feel like some where no one else could know
And home, used to feel like no where else could hold your love
I want you home
i might just have found someone who grounds me.
