I'll always remember the sound of the stereo
The dim of the soft lights
The scent of your hair
That you twirled in your fingers
And the time on the clock
When we realized it's so late
And this walk that we shared together
And the streets were wet
And the gate was locked
So I jumped it
And I let you in
And you stood at your door
With your hands on my waist
And you kissed me like you meant it
And I knew,
That you meant it
weekend recap.
friday : sheng picked me up after school and we headed down to the indoor stadium for THE VERY CROWDED BUT WORTH QUEUEING UP FOR HILLSONG + DELIRIOUS FOP. a long walk to get a cab after, in my lovely boyfriend's attempt to outsmart the entire world.
saturday : othello with prince in the morning, a very long very unnecessary afternoon nap, dimsumdollies & a long walk by the river after that. perfect! (except for the damn blisters)
sunday : passed sheng the boots after our weekly breakfast at macdonalds. received two kissing cows & an extremely sheng-like anniversary present (: sandy spoke about SHORT SKIRTS AND WHITE T-SHIRTS WITH BLACK BRAS. i felt like committing suicide right there and then. yuck. secret recipe with my beloved while waiting for my younger brother. long nap (again) and then dinner at the tanglin club with my awesome godparents. borders with the brothers after. very pleasant.
so it's been a lovely weekend void of work (almost!) and i know that right now, i'm really screwed for prelims. but i also know that right now, i'm so madly in love it's almost stupid.
5 months to forever, Mr Foong.
You're spectacular.
All good Cavemen must know how to dance (:
so here's to a lifetime filled with josh, pebbles, bambam, the big dog, the fuzzy cat. and of course, the cordon bleu chef and his magic twinkie! (:
Oh! and thanks be to STEPH the fellow conspirator (sheng just figured it out, dear!) for cheering me up on thursday after i almost lost my phone. and for bearing with all my nonsense. and for helping to pick up the boots and all. i'm just glad they like their presents, eh (: wedding's at 12 noon, be there or be square, sister.
