last night was good. had to rush home because of the rain, though. bummer.

Romantic Comedy Chickflick things follow a certain formula:

There's the guy. There's the girl. There's the attraction. There's the happy days of getting to know one another. There's the tragic drama - a struggle: are they gonna break up? There's the 'I love you I can't live without you' big gesture; There's the happy ending. Lies I tell you all lies. It's movies like this that produce false hope. Escapism at it's best.

Although, there are possible lessons learnt:

guys - never stop wooing your girls. Stupid actions at wrong times will get you in trouble. AND YOU SHOULD CARE.

girls - never stop supporting your guys. Also, don't let them walk all over you. You're supposed to be each other's better halves.Sticks and stones may break my bonesbut words will never hurt me is bullshit. Somethings said can never be taken back, and there's only so much people can take. Words have a way of wriggling through the cracks of your psyche and triggering too much emotion. The lack of words that warmed your heart, is just as bad.

The test of a relationship is how vulnerable you're willing to be with each other, someone said. You've obviously wormed your way into each others' hearts, so to assume that it doesn't mean anything to either of you is probably not true. When you're willing to put yourself out there, flaws and all, not just smiles and candycanes, but tears and bruises, and still be together, then you know it's right. Otherwise - perhaps it's just not worth it.

Don't be careless with a heart. If you don't want it anymore, or don't think you can look after it anymore, at least try to return it. It's okay, sometimes things get bumped around, or it gets dropped, but you pick it up, and blow off the dirt, and it's okay. It happens. But yes, if you don't want it anymore,and only then, please try to return it in one piece.

ANYWAY.. Monica was trying to get Chandler to tell them that she wasn't high maintenance. And Chandler said something along the lines of..

"Well.... you're a little high maintenance, you're not easy going, but you're passionate, and that's good. And when you get upset about the little things, I think that I'm pretty good at making you feel better about that and that's good too. So they can say that you're high maintenance, but it's okay because I like maintaining you."
