the exams have been, to say the least, pretty damn bad.
let's go through the papers.

gp- i think i wrote out of point
i couldn't complete my AQ (i left out my point about Toys R' Us. i am very sore!)

chinese- hell on earth.

econs - blanked out, completely (possibility of flunking : 100 %)

international history - the only decent paper i've had so far.

war lit - passage based wasn't too tragic. the discurssive, on the other hand, was. ack.

so here's to the remaining papers - othello on friday, sea history on monday, econs mcq&drq + pract crit on tuesday. i really do need a miracle to happen, pronto.

on a different note together,
i get very irritated with certain people who are just either

a) beyond lazy
b) beyond stupid
c) beyond rude
d) i can't think of anything right now.

lauren and i have proclaimed 16 october (21st birthday) to be our pedicure/gossip/powwow day. a much needed one. i am vacillating beyond belief (excess gorby information in my mind), between the traditional hardliner and the reformist/revisionist (very obvious excess information, again) and right now, i am at quite a loss as to what to do with everything, all the information i am being provided with, as well as the time.

hurt is the feeling that you get when you know you're excluded from someone who you feel is very important's plans. not anger, not disappointment, but simply hurt. knowing that because you have been dethroned in that person's life, you are no longer able to play the part that you once played, unable to kick up a fuss because it is not yours to kick up anymore. and the worst part of it all. is that you are the one that caused your loss of power, you are the indecisive imbecile who let something slip out of your grip. perhaps at that point of time, i was not aware of the consequences of my actions, thinking that it was not a permanent change. true, it probably isn't a permanent thing. but it's glaringly obvious that things will never be the same again, cliche as it might sound. i will attempt to start studying othello right now.

i could put my arms around every boy i see,
but they'd only remind me of you.

wonderful words of wisdom, courtesy of Sinead O'Connor.
